77suns 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 As the topic suggest i have encounter FSM who have literally no idea on layout planning that i believe/seen that the outcome made an interior design bad. Many comes with standard idea/rules and when force to change due to odd situation such as small space they start to change their words. Have anyone encounter this and what are your opinion? twolambs 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 I didn't encounter this problem with my FSM. On the other hand, architects should also attend fengshui courses. Most of the layouts have basic fengshui flaws like door facing each other, hob facing door, hob facing sink, and the list goes on ....
77suns 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2008 well not all architect are not good designers and they should upgrade themselves too. FS somethings just does not work at all, for example regarding the hob- ever seen how some restaurant cook works? The cold tap is on top of their wok and the sink is basically right at the back of the wok for easily washing. this is efficiency and it works so well. Door facing door-why not. depending on situation it can be good too. Imagine 2 terrace with side wall share and same family on both side with door facing each other. In olden days we can even keep them open and communicate each other with door always kept open in kampong. stronger kinship!
