also am curious abt their workmanship as they seem new in the industary.

Am getting my keys in 1/4 of 2014...so was looking around for quotations

solid workmanship and warranty lifetime, the afterwork services are superb. They are in the line for 14 years already.

Just to share my experience with Sims Interior.

i have recently selected them to be my sole contractor for my resale flat after evaluating 5 contractors.

im lucky to have the boss of sims interior to service me and it was a pleasant experience having him to take over my renovation.

as i had just started renovation work on 6th July, i will share more information as things progreses. but nontheless, i felt that i had made the right choice and foresee there should not have any problem arising throughout the renovation.

below are 2 pictures of the toilet he designed for me.

also let him do my wardrobe and kitchen cabinet and some other small renovation.

Not sure who is your ID? As for me, not a good experience! It took about 2.5mth for the unit to be renovated. There are no workers on site for days despite expressing the urgency of moving in due to the date given by Fengshui master. for your info, this requirement had been communicated and agreed upon before the contract is signed. Most of the time, my ID "MIA", never bother to answer calls or SMS. Only appeared when asking for payment. Additional hidden cost involved and I had to pay 30% more than the contract stated. To make things worse, the materials used are much inferior and bad workmanship. Staying in the unit for 1 year now, the defects and discoloration are surfacing. In summary, don't settle for the cheapest quote and examine the contract with caution before signing the dotted line.

Thanks for your input. I am intending to contact them further to get quotes. Can you please share your quote with me? I have quite a tight timeline to wedding date and "an Chuan" too. can also share more details as to the inferior / bad workmanship and contracting details?

Hi clarancediana,

It have been a while since I had logged in. The floor and wall tiles are not laid even and some gout line of the homogenous tiles have fallen out. Not only that, the painting of the entire unit is "dropping" off pieces by pieces. The free gifts (LED) lights are spoilt after 2 mths of installation and was told by "It is free gifts thus no warranty"

I had chosen white laminate for my cabinets however the front surface have became "yellowish". The issue that made me most upset is the laying of homgennous tiles and laminated flooring. Ample time(2.5mth) is given to them however work is not being done properly. The ID not contactable depite warranty given.

Just to share my previous experiences with them back in year 2002. Very disappointed with their ID (Kenneth) in doing my renovation, which cost >sgd30K for a 110sqm 4-room in CCK. Workmanship is below average and lots of excuses to not fix problems such as uneven overlaying of floor tiles in kitchen and bathrooms, etc. Eventually, we have to give up on him and engaged other contractors to touch up the defects at our own cost. Hope they have improved by now.....
