Need To Replace Toilet Door

Recommended Posts

My HDB Bi-fold toilet door break off at the hint area. I'm now looking for contractor to replace back the same type of door (or something similar without the need to change the frame). Thinking to post picture, but not sure how to do it. Anyone can recommend a contractor to do it? I stay Sambawang area. My contact number (removed) Thanks.

Hi, you can try Pd Door at 576 Balestier Road, contact no. 6356 1833, website www.pddoor.com

Maybe they are able to help you. 1 door is around $350.

My current door is wooden and hence the frame is also wooden.

If i want to use PD Door or Bifold. Is it possible to remove the entire set and place the Biflod/PD Doors frame. Or the existing Wooden frame(old) will still be there?

I am quite confused. Anyone please help.

according on my knowledge, it might pose some problems...

I insisted on removing the door frame although my ID told me that it will probably affect my floor tiles so unless I have spare for him to replace those affected....

Bifold cost only like $180 to $2xx. The bifold needs its own metal frame, it can attach to existing metal/wooden frame or u can remove the existing frame and just put the new bi-fold's frame (surrounding tiles will of coz be affected when u remove existing frame).

The pple doing the bi-fold normally won't remove the old frame for you, it'll be the job of the renovator. The bi-fold pple just come and install and go.

mine used to be wooden door frame..and now my toilet is bi-fold with arcylic panel..

if u dun hack the wooden door frame, also can. but that means your bi-fold door is gonna be small....how to walk in...

if u hack the wooden door frame, most prob affect some tiles at the sides and bottom too, inevitable. and of cos. your new door frame size will not be small....

up to you what u wan....then see if u can afford it. bi-fold door is about 180 to 220....

plus a bit for hacking..dispose...cement and tiles stuff...cutting the tiles into smaller pieces...blah blah blah...
