Balcony..the door will be on the balcony floor instead of on the living room floor.. Kitchen entrance..after hacking the center to be the new entrance.. Kitchen layout...L-shape cabinet and black tiles in between cabinets and all the way to the washing M/C area... Common Toilet...the wall tiles of the common bathroom..layout of the basin still pending duno where to placed it.. Master bathroom...tiles no stock so got to go down n select 1 more time... will box up the pipe for the vanity top... went down and choose a red strip tiles for the common bathroom..to be laid in between the horizontal and vertical tiles...from the wall all the way till the bottom...it will create a pathway image...Roy think its nice also..so when ahead n bought it... Elston Phua 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Went to S & C furniture shop to get dining table, chairs and coffee table..overall a nice shopping trip..lady boss n boss ws there to tok to us abt their design n price... they have a lot of design bt u got to c from the brochure itself as they do import biz.. u will notice they have all the big designer coy furniture as well and the price is 2 or 3 times lower than them. finally choose the dining tables but the chairs are not the "chosen".. Elston Phua 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2008 (edited) 2nd week of reno...done last week..no time to post so now post everyting done in 2nd week... kitchen wall tiles were all up...din regret choosing the black n white tiles..looks gd.. common toliet wall&floor tiles..wah...wonderful job n color combine..tink the common toilet is better than the master toilet...tats wat i told Roy...haha.. closer look at the common toilet tiles..got curvy lines on them..3D effect.. master toilet..look at the bathing area(between the box up and the white wall tiles....so small but no choice..wat to do..tink will rather bath in the common toilet instead...haha... after viewing the reno...next stop went to genova to survey for WC prices n model... after looking ard was tinking of getting the promo items..whole set oni $388 tink its a gd buy 4 us.. but did not went ahead to buy, coz wana bring Roy to take a look 1st.. ok..tats all..will go down today n take a look...been toking to Roy to say that the reno is too slow..hahaha...tink cant move in b4 Xmas liao..hai... lets c today movement 1st..hopefully master toilet n kitchen floor tiles all done up..FingerX.. Elston Phua 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2008 Update on Week 3...when up today n found that almost the floor tiles is up.. so happy finally see a lot of improvement... Master bathroom..wall tiles abt 80% all up.. Empty wall is for the full ht mirror Master bedroom..floor tiles all laid but skirting nt done yet.. kitchen L-partition block is up.. Wall tiles for the W/M area is up also... Cabinet raise floor and floor tiles are all up..but floor tiles are not cover with cardboard..will mi floor be full of scratches? or will the tiles b damaged? any1 any idea? Balcony floor is doing waterproofing and will lay tiles on friday.. The dining area..Uncle doing the floor tiles then the whole living n dining floor tiles will b all up.. view from e balcony and living room... View from the master room window Drawing from mi...comparing a 47" LG LCD TV and a 40" Samsung LCD TV..Finali decide to go for the 47" LG coz of mi big feature wall...if not the TV will look so small on a big feature wall... (See all the drawings left behind by the previous owner on all the walls in e hse......nt even a area is spared from the drawing...hai..) tats all for the 3rd week highlight..will update next week for the full month reno...haha...
