h4happy 1 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 Buy chicken brand (I forget the name...), the best! Wont rust. I bought mine from Poh Joo...less than 1 month already rust at the side!!! porkypig 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 chrome is just a coating over the metal. As the toilet is a wet area and contains water vapour in the air. Chrome metal wouldn't last and spots willl gradually formed on the surface. Buy SS for durability and lasting.. Chicken brand is Song Chu.. But items is abit on the high side.. Song Cho is the name of the co. http://www.songcho.com.sg/ We bought one set for the common bathroom from Poh Joo, within 3 months rust liao, no good. I rather spend more, alot more and buy Chicken brand (Welmi). I have bought 1 piece (holding soaps and shampoos) beside the water heater...until now.....no rust...SOLID! I bought 1 set from Poh Joo, already RUST!!!! So for pple out there intending to source for kitchen accessories...dont buy from Poh Joo. You will regret! I am the one! yup, the chicken brand is the best of all.... solid stainless steel. i had bought some racks from chicken brand about 5 yrs ago.... and still no rust.... and these racks are always get wet in the shower area. so wat do you all think about chicken brand? good, right?? It is very expensive....initially my sister bought a few that cost almost $500++...heart pain...but now, she laughed at me for buying low qty from Poh Joo (cost me less than $200++)...now I heart pain! Anyway, lesson learnt. Go for chicken brand. Pay more and less headache. Also, REMEMBER to ask your id/contractor to use / MUST use the chicken brand screw and nuts provided by them. Cannot use other no brand screw and nuts. Hey our-home, - wher is Song Cho (AMK branch)? - any other branch in Marsiling, Woodlands, Bishan, Toa Payoh?
