What Is The Difference Between Very Cheap Basin And More Expensive Basin?

I have been hunting for basins & found that there are very cheap basin (~$40-$80) & there are also those around ~$150 but the design is similar.

Wonder what is the factor that cause the price difference apart from aesthetics?

Material? Functionality? Easier to mix & match tap & waste stop?

Please advise!

Our selection is based purely on aesthetics. Dun think there will be much difference in terms of usage between the cheap and expensive brands.

I once thought the same too until they installed my toilet sink. The outlet is slanted, leading to the pipe being slanted. It's exposed and it looks ugly. : ( I don't think this is a valid reason for me to return the sink..
