gaiusparx 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2008 I visited Teka showroom, the lady said for insert mount kitchen sink, the water tap is not solid stable when you swing the tap, cos it is attached to the stainless steel. And you can feel the water tap swinging a bit when you turn the tap for the demo set at Teka showroom. Is it true that nothing can be done to make the tap solidly attached to the sink? Anyone with inset kitchen sink, is your water tap stable and not swinging? Thanks

cruz 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2008 Some designs require the tap to be mounted onto the stainless stell sink. This design will cause the tap to sway as the stainsteel sheet of the sink is thin and flimsy. Another option is to mount the tap onto the kitchen top instaed of the sink. You have the option to do so. All sinks come without the hole to mount the tap. You have to get the shop to cut a hole in it. Don't cut the hole on the sink then, cut the hole onto your kitchen top instead.
