Cap Cay 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2008 I've presently got reonvations going on in my house. After installing casings for new wiring, there is usually a small gap between the casings and the wall, which I asked my contractor to fill up with plaster/ putty. My contractor started grumbling asking why am I picking up such small issues, although ultimately he agreed to do it. I feel it does not matter if it is a small or big, but it does look a bit ugly to see gaps under the casing. Is it not a normal practice to fill the gaps?
