Our-home No. 3 For 3

Recommended Posts

Guest our-home

Hi to everyone!

We've gotten so much info/advice from others in this forum - thanks to you all.

Now, we'd like to share our reno experience. We'll be doing the necessary only, very basic. If there's anything left in our budget, maybe we'll add on a little.

Our third home is a 8-year old resale 2+1 apartment (91sqm) and we're renovating the kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Thank you, thank you all for the warm welcome!

Yes, we'll post more pix as the reno progresses. My hubby is the official photographer.

Nano,

Kitchen floor tiles also overlaid.

Jessie,

We estimate between $30-35K will be spent on reno.

Prettibride,

Yep, my hubby liked the clean look and help make our tiny bathrooms look a little bigger.

tpjack,

Not sure, cos electrician coming this Wed, there's still aircon and painting. Carpentry maybe the week after. Will need to check with contractor.

Smartfool,

My hubby liked the marble-like look, that's why he chose it.

Hopefully, reno finishes 1st week or latest middle October.

Kitchen flooring looked worn out and we didn't like the wall tiles/cabinets. Same with common bathroom.

Master bathroom definitely in bad condition.

The previous owner rented this apartment out to different people during the entire 8 years.

So did a lot of thinking - and decided to "standardize" the tiles. Tiling is messy, so get that done first and can change other stuff later on if need to.
