Wonder when is the best time to install curtain track?

During renovation or after renovation? Which is better?

Can do it after you finish everything, just make sure you catered the space for it.

I did mine before renovation completed. It is a good idea as u can ensure that there is correct paint touch up.

Actually, a professional curtain installer will drill the holes with either a plastic bag or a paper cone to contain the dust during drilling. I suggest to install the curtain tracks only after general cleaning but before painting touch ups, coz i don't want the dust from the renovation to clog up the tracks during the renovation. A professional company should have a final touch up session after the general cleaning for the painter to touch up any defects. Of coz there'll be some dust when touch ups happen after general cleaning, but a quick mop solves the problem. I rather check for defects after cleaning, that gives me a better perspective of the entire project.
