Roman Curtain Change To Day & Night Curtain

Hi,

I know this is a stupid question but hope someone can advise.

I intend to change my type of curtain from current Roman Curtain to Day & Night Curtain. Can I use back the same curtain track, or must I change to the Day & Night Curtain type?

If need to change, can the curtain maker down the previous curtain track prior to installing the new one without extra charges? Or do I have to take it down myself first?

Please help!
