mmycheng 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) I decided to start this t-blog after my hb introduced me to this forum a month ago. Since then, I have gotten countless tips and useful advice. So here's my little contribution showing snippets of our renovation process. It's still at it's teething stages, so I'll update it as and when more gets done at our new place. For starters, you can find pictures of my flat before reno here... http://s401.photobucket.com/albums/pp92/mm...nt=CIMG1506.jpg Pictures of things that we have bought can also be found at... http://s401.photobucket.com/albums/pp92/mm...ght_Dining1.jpg I feel like an artist... doing up a house from a blank canvass...hee Edited September 4, 2008 by mmycheng

mmycheng 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 Electrical wiring works already started...but I think the real hacking and wet works will only start in 2 weeks. I still need HDB to do the cement screeding for my bedrooms...just submitted the form yesterday. A bit scared they wun do a good job... read a fair bit of 'complains' about shoddy workmanship from the forum.

mmycheng 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) Hi hi...more pics...this time of my interior designs... Theme: Modern Key colours: Yellow, Black, White and Grey Main considerations: 1. Suspended cabinets as I've got a dog who likes to mark his territory all over 2. Functional for hb and me 3. As clutter-free as possible for easy cleaning More photos at this url: http://s401.photobucket.com/albums/pp92/mm...t=StudyArea.jpg Edited September 11, 2008 by mmycheng
pinkpetter 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 Hi hi...more pics...this time of my interior designs... Theme: Minimalist Key colours: Yellow, Black, White and Grey Main considerations: 1. Suspended cabinets as I've got a dog who likes to mark his territory all over 2. Functional for hb and me 3. As clutter-free as possible for easy cleaning http://s401.photobucket.com/albums/pp92/mm...t=StudyArea.jpg I think the colour combi works great! Very modern and different from the more common black red white. Great choice! ahhh I think the dog consideration is very impt. Like you I have to design my house around my pet too. no point having her destroy things. I love the study and toilet the most.

BunBun 5 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) Welcome to RT! I got the same colour scheme as the one in the Master toilet, right to the motif borderline for my common toilet. Only thing is that the floor tiles surface is rough & easily gets dirt marks unfortunately in comparison to the previous tiles Edited September 3, 2008 by BunBun

mmycheng 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 haha err not yet la. but here's my reno blog not many pictures unlike yours. btw where you get your pictures from ah? Pictures of my interior designs you mean? They are provided by my ID...think they use photoshop. I prefer it this way, enable me to visualise better and I bring it everywhere when shopping for furniture so see if they match. Hee me turn to spam here..hee. same theme as mine..may i know where did you purchase your roomba and scooba? Me and hubby interested to get one but the iRobot in USA refuses to ship out of USA.. I bought my robots from this very forum..2nd hand sale! ... the guy who sold them for me has contacts for a reseller in the US who can ship it out for you. Otherwise, you can use Vpost. Search under forum topic 'garage sales and exchange corner' then under thread named 'scooba 380'. You should be able to find the seller and perhaps you can PM him.
