cruz 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2008 It is not so easy to DIY. The gysum boards need to be mounted with metal brackets aka "U-channel". These U-channels needs to be secured to your walls / floor via screws or studs. Then also you might need to cut the U-channels and gypsum boards to suit the dimensions. If you wanna hide the ugly joint where 2 gypsum boards meet, you have to use a kind of netting to lay over the joints, then plaster over. then paint. If you really wanna do up partition board, do consider calling this fella at 9145 3646 or 6858 0750. Will be able to do the job for a reasonable price.
