Diy False Wall

err... not easy leh... sweat sweat ... it is not like painting

anyway, i am not sure if we can diy all these stuff since only approved HDB-contractors are allowed to work on HDB units (if you are refering to HDB unit).

can i check if anyone knows diy false wall / ceiling and also hacking of their floors???

gysum board + brackets + plastering + painting = dead..... :lol:

It is not so easy to DIY.

The gysum boards need to be mounted with metal brackets aka "U-channel". These U-channels needs to be secured to your walls / floor via screws or studs.

Then also you might need to cut the U-channels and gypsum boards to suit the dimensions.

If you wanna hide the ugly joint where 2 gypsum boards meet, you have to use a kind of netting to lay over the joints, then plaster over. then paint.

If you really wanna do up partition board, do consider calling this fella at 9145 3646 or 6858 0750. Will be able to do the job for a reasonable price.

BTW there are different kinds of boards to use. gypsum being the cheapest. Quality difference.

i has been thinking for months whether to get the wall decor or not......

it is just too costly liaoz...
