BunBun 5 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 True, it is very tiring to clean big places esp glass You mean the front gate that is shown in the pictures? It was installed by the previous owner. Thus, I've no idea how much it costs. Anyway, I won't be keeping it. Anyone knows if I can sell it off? Anyway, big place means cleaning up is going to be a nite mare! BunBun 5 Report post Posted September 30, 2008 Heya nath.adrie, apologies for missing out this post 'cos haven't been keeping track of posts in RT lately. Hope I'm not too late in posting this reply. Glass windows not easy, newspaper would do but will have to wipe clean properly. But for glass tables, you can try a little bit of CIF and wipe it down on the glass followed by a damp cloth to wipe off completely. Mirrors in the bathroom on the other hand can be wiped with CIF & sprayed with water to wash off. For curtains, I got mine from JB. It is about 1k+ SGD (RM2.4k) You mean what to look out for when buying curtains? Hee... so you have any tips in doing it easily and fast? Don't think wanna travel to JB. Not familiar with that place. oh, icic. So that window and that door leads to the balcony. That's right.
BunBun 5 Report post Posted September 30, 2008 Actually we never go to the curtain shop in JB at all. The lady boss came down to my place to do the measurement of the windows & even brought her material samples to choose from. This curtain lobang is recommended by someone. When you're sourcing for curtains, do make sure to do a comparison of the costs for the various materials quoted. For eg; if you're doing roller bind curtains, you may want to consider whether you want to get blackout material or non-blackout material. The difference in materials will have different pricing per psf for the roller bind curtains that why. For curtain recommendations in sg, I have no idea cos I already had a curtain lobang. For the curtain style, its a matter of preference in your case. Hee.. thanks for the tips... will look at it again when we are ready to do some serious cleaning up. *nightmare* Yes, what are the things to look out for when sourcing for curtains?
