Pet, uncle must have been really busy to get all these mixed up! Hopefully this time round it'll go to the right place and chop chop approval for u :)

... I think Uncle doesn't even know... and it's partly my fault. I should have enquired and told him specifically what to do cos not all the people he meet there would know mandarin. haiz I didn't think it was so complicated either. Poor Uncle go so many times... I think 3-4 times liao. I feel so guilty. Either him or he send the Ah Hai to go... really waste their time. *sigh*

aiyoh... hope ur woes will end here.

I hope so too. I certainly hope everything can work out fast.

with a galss top will that cause the moisture to be trap between the glass and the top of the cabinet? My previous coffee table is like that there are some black spots appearing after a while...just be cautious lah...that's why even when my new coffee table, the glass top is "live" it can be removed to clean so that it will not have unsightly spots.

ohhh mm how ah? mm Or ask him to tile the top? This is the reason why I don't like cabinets below the windows... but we really need the space. 3 women and a vain young man really have a lot of shoes.

We are in the same shoes actually...I also have a cabinet under the window which I am thinking of what to do with the space...How about using it as a display shelf at the top? Have some runners or nice cloth on it?

I'm not very concerned about the space... but I'm concerned about water coming in from the window. Cos that window faces the outside... if anyone throws water out of the window it will splash in, or if we forget to close the windows properly when it rains... Although the latter wouldn't happen often cos we make it a habit to close properly but I'm still afraid.

I don't intend to put anything on top though. hehe :)

to all that's concern with the glass top, it is removable. I didnt specify my shoe cabinet to have a glass top so on 1st installation, the carpenter only came with the cabinet. Then i whine a bit and ask uncle to throw in, the carpenter made some measurements and went back to 'cut' a piece of glass to lay on top for me. So when we need to wipe, we can lift up the entire glass piece. :)
