The Home We've Been Looking Forward To

Recommended Posts

uh oh.... sounds bad. mmm usually painting is coordinated by Jason ba. But I don't have jason's number. You trying PMing familyof4 / mrspiglet for it? I'll ask my dad if he saved Jason's number.

I did manage to call Uncle this morning (my dad called on my behalf) but just now when his own worker tried to call him in front me, he didn't answer... I think he's busy somewhere. I think Jason will be a better bet.

Thanks pinkpetter, Uncle just called me, said he will be coming over to my place from Woodlands now. So far have not talked to anyone else except Uncle. So i don't think Jason even knows of my existance. haha :)

Haiz this Uncle ah... Make people worried. If there's anything else outstanding (I figure your house is finishing since you're painting...) you should list them out. give him the list ... and keep one. :P Tell Uncle to do the MBR first ya!

I do hope everything will be properly done today!

Hi PinkPetter,

It will be great if u have pixs for me, thanks alot!

Will try. will be messy-looking though :P

No lor... he occasionally would still complain that I don't arrange it nicely and then try to do it himself, taking HOURSSSS and then decided to go out and buy new plants back for ME to re-arrange. :P 苦命...

But I remember the ones behind we would usually get the ones with big sword-like leaves, some of fully green, some green-white, some green-red ones..... :) Quite lasting.

I looked through my com to find pictures of our aquarium for you but... they are in my ext hard disk I think. mmm we don't keep the aquarium anymore. heh

Haha! Ur bf must be quite a perfectionist! :P Hee, thanks for searching. If can find then post to show show bah. :)

Mmm, Uncle just came to my place and left already. Painting can only be done on Saturday. Uncle said will get them to work throughout till Sunday. Actually my place did not do any reno, but I got Uncle to remove all the build-in shelves as well as the build in cabinet housing my ugly toilet pipes( cos I purchased a new aircon and they needed to tear down and replace all my own aircon truncking) in my MBR toilet. Small project actually, but the removal of my MBR Toilet door( which was custom made wood sliding door type), made a lot of big holes on my MBR wall, which needed it to be plastered up before I could repaint the walls.

Have ordered a bi-fold door, but the supplier mentioned that it is better to install the door after painting, what's your take on this? By the looks of it, might have to install the toilet door first than wait for the painters to paint, otherwise, got to go without a toilet door for my MBR for the next few days. (Have already been without a door for almost 10 days, and everyday got to put up with my hubby's "music", as he doesn't like to use the common toilet. Haiz...

mm my bi fold doors were put up WAY before the painting was done. Both the doors for MBR and common toilet. I really don't think it makes a difference. Just that there might be some paint marks on the frame of the door which should be quite easy to clean off.

Two tracks. Why leh?

I was discussing with Uncle to change my PD door as he mentioned that the PD door guy he is using rght now can't do a good job. so to prevent future problems, i changed it to glass door. Uncle mentioned if I want, I can change to bifold with top hung track. Uncle has been using it for more than 8 yrs and no problem. Price about the same as PD door, so I think I might change totop hung bi fold.

oh ok... it's a choice thing. So far not much problems with my top-bottom bi-fold.. But there was once when my brother pulled the door very hard (boys will be boys) and the bottom came out.. but he pushed it in easily. haha

If it's the same price why not? How much will the glass door cost you?

Pet: You can try Java moss or Christmas moss. Easier to maintain.

familyof4: Just now called to order PD door but was told to change to bi-fold. Many complains about PD. If I insist want PD, then have to order from the manufacturer.
