$75 is a bit X but with led light you still save in the long run. :)

Yup... not much choice. And we liked how it camouflages cos the casing is so white like the ceiling. :)

Interesting, your sister's room is very fuss free & no frills. Not girly at all. Your parents' room looks huge. A lot of space in front of the wardrobe. Impressive wardrobe.

:) My sister is married so the room is for her and her hubby when they are around. (usu not in the country) So it looks more like a young couple's room.

My parent's wardrobe is really value for money.. one for $380 only and we got both for about $700. My dad did the arrangement of stuff in the room...

:) Thanks Thanks...

Ooo... Did ur sis use a ikea CD rack for her beauty products? Cool idea! :D

YES! so clever! haha She needed a rack for her toiletries and beauty stuff but that space was simply TOO narrow! After checking out all the products at Ikea, her hubby and her finally decided on this CD rack. It came in very useful since the shelves are fully adjustable and she can custom them to the height of her bottles and stuff. :)

WHOA *stressed* Actually it's more or less packed. Just two boxes to go and I already know where I want to put the stuff.

The more exciting thing would be that my decals have been sent out and I can most likely put them up this weekend!!!

One upsetting thing though... my contractor has been promising to come but he didn't show up. He would call and postpone. He postpone three times already.

I guess it's like that... final rectifications will take some time cos he's busy with his new business already.:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:

Hi Pinkpetter,

Your place look so different after the renovation. I noticed that you pull down the kitchen wall and build 1 wall for the room. I might need to pull down 2 wall (1 at the kitchen and 1 at the store) and build back 2 wall (1 for the room and 1 for the store).

May I check with you, roughly how much did you spend on the wall and for the building back, does it include the plastering of that wall? And can you pls pm me your reno contacts?

Thanks!!

:) pulling down the wall was included in the hacking works. My total for hacking works is $2400.

It included

Hacking of all floor tiles in ENTIRE unit (122sqm)

Hacking of wall tiles in both toilets

Hacking of one 6ft wall

Removal of Balcony glass

Removal of kitchen cabinets

Removal of selected window grilles

Haulage

Building the wall cost me $800 (inclusive of door and door frame)

I'll PM you :)
