Angel81 1 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 (edited) Do a L shape full cabinet all the from rubbish chute to the entrance of kitchen door. I'm tinking of doing sth like urs. But the sink will be where ur stove is, and vice versa. In front of the sink is the washing machine. Then on the other side of it is the rubbish chute and windows. With the addition of the washing machine, really duno if the length of the kitchen is enuff anot. At the end of the L shape is the oven/microwave oven/other electrical stuff. Fridge opp the stove, along the entrance wall. Oh, I tink my kitchen door got shift abit by the seller, it's right at the end of the kitchen, instead of somewhere in the middle like urs. But I abit scare that there may be not enuf space to walk btw the sink (ur stove) and the Lvl 1 toilet. Is urs cramp? Can't really see fr ur pics, so was wondering how is the distance btw ur Lvl 1 toilet and ur stove. Oh well, can only confirm once we can measure the place. Hope to get my layout soon. So long there is a clearance of 80cm, it should be comfortable for a person to pass. My is at 80cm, no problem for me cos i'm biggest at home.... What u can do is used a measuring tape on a bi-fold door(any bi-fold), take a clearance of comfortable for yourself and tell your ID nothing below that value. hi hi chrono, hey, noticed you did not do the below stairs area into a small store-room.....have intention to do? by the way,....my hse now abt 90% completed liao. cabinets installation on 23rd Sep,.....den the solid top will only be in on abt Friday. Not planning to do a mini store room under the stair cos i feel that it will make the living hall much smaller. Besides, i can put a lot of toys under stair for my children. In fact, my girls like to play under the stair.

Sorry .. been thinking of how to put this and that.. Most prob hiring a contractor like u le.. =D Many Many Thanks I have got only plan view, no 3d cos more expensive at $60 per pic. One thing to note, the dimensions above especially the entrance leading to WIW is rather small at 588mm but when the worker went up to fix the wardrobe and partition wall, they managed to give a clearance of 750mm cos according to them most of older HDB flat walls are slanted. They have also make the distance between TV and bed longer too. Good initiative to them. Edited September 23, 2008 by chronograph
