Cost Of Charcoal Filter In The Hood

My hood is bellari chimney type...alreday there when bought my place.

Inside got 2 charcoal filter...need to replace yearly at $50 each....thats $100

Is it too much.....? other brands...comments?

I asked coz I see some hood only selling like $300+

Anyone use those type that have oil draining type or easy to clean type

Basically a hood that is low maintenace/high efficiency

Yu don't have to fit the charcoal if you don't want to. They filters out cooking smells but for Asian type cooking, it works only for a few days before the active carbon becomes coated with oil and don't work anymore. Just remove them that's it.
