Changing doors of cabinets n wardrobe only

I'm going to re-laminate my wardrobe so should be ok.. for 2 3fts cupboards my carpenter roughly quote me $450

I see that you have done re-lamination before. Can you share your experience? Does the new facelifted cupboards look good? New laminates lasting with no signs of peeling?
