What Is Hollow Core Decorative Timber Door Exactly?

Our bedroom doors are hollow core decorative timber ones. I googled to find out what they're actually made of and now have doubts ...

Has anyone re-varnished these types of bedroom doors? Is it possible in the first place?

Called a few door suppliers this afternoon.

They told me it's possible, but must see condition of door first cos the exterior is plywood. Quoted me between $30-$50 to re-varnish one door.

Can ask contractor to do? I just ask mine to stain a darker colour for me but he says might not be able to see the wood grain so he'll show me a sample first.

definitely they can do

and u can choose color some more

If your door frame is also made of wood, you may want to include that too - additional cost.
