They quite ex for contrator. There are 4 ID's on the 2nd floor

I used one of them before, 4 yrs ago. Not using them this time round.

Thanks for the info.

We're just doing the 2 bathrooms and kitchen, so didn't think we'd need an ID. But got quotation from Ideal House, just in case. Comparing Tong Hong and Ideal House quotes - almost the same.

IH package for 5rm (kitchen + 2 toilets) is 10.9K right? Just ensure before you sign up what is not included in the package. There is haulage of materials etc to unit and this costs a lot. also $$ if you intend to hack any walls. Check what is covered in plumbing. Type of work top provided etc. If you need to box up anything it's extra.

True, now as the quotes come in, see that there are many little details here and there - all add up to quite a lot.

i used them rencently for my reno as im too lazy to manage it myself.

they can be cheap if you know the industry well. personally im doing commercial shop fitout only so i know the costings etc.. and i made it clear to them that if i find them marking up too high, i will get my own guys to do.

Their quotation is quite competitive compared with another contractor and ID. So we've decided to sign up with them.

Found that we can also "click" with the person we spoke with.

Our renovation has been completed and handover from Daniel, Tong Hong Decorations was on Friday, 10 October.

The reno process went smoothly, which is a relief cos we didn't have time to go down to check everyday.

Hubby and I are pleased with Daniel's work and are glad we chose to engage his services to renovate our apartment.
