enchan 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 Hi Guys, I am planning to refurbish my new resale flat. Found a broken parquet floor for 1.5 sqm only - is it possible to change only on that area or have to change the parquet floor for whole room? And would like to add some electrical point on the ceiling - I assume, it can be done without tearing down the existing ceiling - Please Confirm.. I dont use ID, plan to design and manage by myself TIA for the advise!
latitude 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2008 if the affected part can be covered by a big furniture (ie. bed or cupboard..etc), dun i suggest no need to do anything.. my opinion..

Go to a DIY Shop (Homefix, etc) and buy a wood glue (it is like a paste used to fill up holes in the wall) and there is a special one for the wood. Cover the hole or crack with this wood paste and then polish it with a sand paper when it is completely dried and then paint over with a wood paint or vanish.
