Hi Goatsun,

Just for your reference...

Dave must have his way of doing things being in this line for so donkey years. I guess it's a matter of trust and judgement. Of course, you will not choose an ID based on our comments. Ultimately, it is still your say. Some ID may let you have your ways of payment, they dun care so long they are paid eventually. Most impt is the final outcome, the quality + workmanship and the chemistry btw u and ur ID.

Hi goatsun, lump sum payment is his practice. It's either 50 50 or u can choose to pay him 1 shot. For my case, I paid him the full amount on the orientation day. If u r uncomfortable with the arrangement, maybe u would like to talk to him abt it?

Hi DSC,

Thanks again. will talk to him on this.

Hi Goatsun,

Am surprise about Dave's demand. You sure about that?

My dealing with Angeline was based on progressive payment till completion.

Cheers.

Hi, he told me that his practice was different from the rest in the company. Otherwise, my impression of him is good.

Thanks to the suggestion by DSC, i called Dave and a tentative quotation was sent to me one day after the call. We have since met up with Dave. So far so good but feel a bit uneasy about his demand to pay him in one lump sum rather than by stages according to work progress. Any comment on this?
