Brick Wall

Hi,

Anyone has done a white brick wall before? How much does it cost and any pictures to show?

These pictures are red brick wall, i am looking at a white one(painted over with white paint)

hi

HDB are using hollow-block for constructing wall so its light-weight

if planning to do this in HDB might not be allowed.

Maybe landed its okie.

its doesnt really cost much to do up a red brick wall

abt 20% to 30% more than a hollow-block one

true, HDB is very particular abt weight loading and hacking of supportin beams. So they may not allow.

There's something similar that should be ok. It's basically one layer of thin cement, then they add some colouring and making some pattern to make it look like real brick. It's actually a form of overlaying, not sure what's the name for it. U'll often see this on HDB covered walkways or park floor.

my suggestion: try using wallpaper that have the same effect.

Eh..

there is a type of "brick wall feature wall".

Can be easily done. Its same thickness with the feature wall, just that they layered it differently to give u a brick feeling. i saw my neighbour did before

no need to actually get the real brick and build la..keke..why hihihi and artching sounds like its so complicated leh?
