There are fresh water, marine, planted etc... and you can spend anything from tens of dollars to thousands! I suggest you do some research on the Net first to get a rough idea. I'm doing up a 4ft tank for my tortoise at my new place. A couple of other friends who are also into keeping aquariums are doing up theirs around the same time. mmycheng 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 I got recommended to Atlantis previously... but I didn't enquire further after one of my frens told me he was quoted $6K for a 4ft planted aquarium designed as a divider in his living room... If you are keeping arowana or fishes that can get too big, obviously a large tank is required. For planted with tetra/angel, 2ft is suffice but i have seem 6ftx1x2(H) planted tank. I suggest you visit some local fish shops such as C328 ( @ Clementi Blk 328) or QianHu to take a look first. At least u will get a rough idea on what you r really looking for. dtft 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2008 There r many kind of fishtanks around.(custom made, ready made, used....) U can always scout around to look see at Local Fish Shop or Farm. If u wanna see, can go to Rainbow @ serangoon north 1, they hv many kind of tanks n setup for you to see.....
