I went look around a few places but all the salesman says LCD better and not as HOT as plasma....what that suppose to mean? But I see the pic quality Plasma is sharper and color nicer. Any advise? Mine's a 42" Pioneer Plasma, Yes! does let out a bit of heat when u get close to it...but very happy with picture quality. thats the reason i choose Pioneer over the other popular brands...my suggestion: Plasma! bbbs 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2008 i bought a LCD instead, as i dun really watch teebee. hahaha and my frd's 1 yr old plasma is spoilt due to over heating. now they can only watch for 30 mins, it will auto shut off... they mst the plasma mst put in the toilet, cuz they **** for 1/2 hr only.
