Can Old Hdb Flat Have Aircon Compressors Installed?

haven't seen b4, dunno allowed or not. But that steel bracket is pretty strong, can hold the weight of the installer (~60-70KG) + another compressor (~60Kg).

Don't think it's allowed. That's my plan for my new house but was told by my contractor that only 1 is allowed for flats that don't have air con ledges.

i am living in an old estate. Recently i saw 2 units (newly moved in families) renovating their house and they are installing 2 compressors. One outside the main living room and the other in the bedroom (where everyone had installed)

Imagine HDB sending them a letter to restrict them to only 1 compressor per unit... Wonder what are they going to do...

well i guess they probably had got written confirmation from HDB before proceeding. Dun think anyone want to risk incurring the wrath of HDB
