mimisan 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 Hello all. We have collected our keys in end May and have already started on our reno. But we didnt have time to start a blog. Hope its not too late! Heres my floorplan! Some old pictures taken when we signed off the OTP. When you step into the house TV wall MBR Toliet #02 Common Toliet Kitchen Majority of the floorings is changed except the kitchen. Due to budget constrains, we decided not to do anything to the kitchen. maybe Kitchen revamp part 2 few years later. Our reno is done by a nice contactor and the price was within our small budget. All ID exceeded out budget hence, we decided to be our own ID to create our simple house. Things that we have done in our Reno Level 1 - Hack and relay living, dinning, study room and courtyard - Tie down exisiting cornices - Install L-Box - Change all switches - Seal up TV wall - Change all lightings Level 2 - Overlay parquet on existing flooring - redo 2 toliets My hubby forget to upload the progress of the reno pics and we have accidently deleted them thinking that either 1 of us has already saved a copy. Hence we can only show pictures that are already near so completion.. Hahaa.. When you enter the house. These are the new Homo tiles. 600x600. You can also see the long L-Box from the picture. Floor is Un-polished/un-clean mode Close up of the L-Box. Lights not installed yet. Sealed Up TV Walls Flooring at the courtyard - old wallpapers not removed yet Unpolished parquet MBR Toliet - in dirty mode Lvl 2 Common toliet New Legrand switches. Wanted gray but the box behind only comes in white so choose white in the end my camera cant take the full image of the toliet. any tips ?? so that i can take the entire toliet? Next week, will be installing of lights, painting, installing tolieties and hopefully polishing of parquets! Ok thats all for now.. Shall post updates when i have it again

mimisan 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 (edited) progress is slow this week. hehe so no pics at the moment. Anyone has any idea what can i buy to paste on my old sliding door for the kitchen? Its initially translucent in colour but i think over time, it become yellow in colour and its quite ugly. Thinking of pasting something over it maybe like laminate or something that is "wipe-able"? Dun want to waste $$ to replace tat door leh anyway how much does a sliding door cost? Edited July 14, 2008 by mimisan
