gkbt 8 Report post Posted May 16, 2011 Thanks gkbt. Which brand would be considered as a specialized then? I understand you're a neutral party so I would like to hear from your views. No harm for me to check what you recommended. ThksI am using Jupiter water ionizers. Company selling is Kemp Trading. They are specilized as in selling this type of systems alone. However there are new water ionizers marketed by other new players in the market. Do visit them as well or go direct to kemp... you will get all your questions answered.cheers... gkbt 8 Report post Posted May 16, 2011 Hi gkbt,Thanks for the information - those did clear most of my doubts Especially the link about our stomach juice. But that link also bring up a concern - if I understand correctly, as we drink alkaline water, the stomach will producemore acid in order to maintain the acid level in our stomach. The by product of producing those acid are alkalines which will go into our blood stream. The concern here is will that lead to overwork stomach as it need to produce more acid ? I mean we might not see the side effect now but long term, will it has any side effect ?I know you might not have the answer, but just a thought.Thanks.Hi Kst,From what i know, our stomach acidity will not be always at a low pH level.. they do have a more acidic pH when there is food in the stomach or a lesser acidic pH when the stomach is empty. What I do know is this.. after the 1965 endorsement by the MOH in Japan, which is roughly 1 generation of consumers. If there were side effect issues of the technology... they would have pulled the plug off the endorsement.I personally have been drinking since my mother bought the system in the early 2002, which is roughly 10 years... so far so good...Cheers! jjames 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2011 Tyent - can get here in singapore? how much it cost?
gkbt 8 Report post Posted June 10, 2011 Tyent is sold under the watersource branding. price is kinda steep think like S$2.4K+, there are cheaper and better systems in singapore though if you ask me.They are relatively new in the market as well.. maybe 2 years?Tyent is no different from jupiter in terms of technology however prices are different. So end story is to check them out and understand them fully before purchasing.Cheers! gkbt 8 Report post Posted June 26, 2011 Hi sry James,Was overseas. Jupiter systems here is no mlm. It's actually direct. Btw the systems do not cost that expensive. They start from $1388 onwards if I am not wrong. My mom just upgraded her system after 10 years not because it's broken but rather it does not fit into her kitchen decor. I did a test on her system and it seems ok still so she decided to pads the older system to my grandpa to use temporary. So I would assume that the plates would last u as many years as my mom's. Hope that helps!
