atlantis2267 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2010 Hi Bro, i m interested in the F100, understand u have 10 people already, can i join in as well? My contact is 93690833, thanks Victor, The group buy has ended. Please do contact the vendor directly, I believe his price is still unbeatable even without the discount PS. Perhaps you can own/start a new group buy by liasing with the vendor , but check the Korean Won trends (still going up or down?); waiting too long may erode the discount you secure. rivest 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2010 Not entirely true. For eg. 3109 vs V100, 3109 has physical keys while gateman doesnt. It can also register any mifare key cards or key fobs. Yale bought over Gateman (I think); you pay double the price for the same Gateman's engineering etc, for Yale's branding. Src: just google ! Yale GATEMAN - unlock your life with the latest technology Enjoy the most advanced lock and release all your worries on locking. With more than a century of history, Yale has been one of the most recognized brands in the lock industry. Lock itself has been developed remarkably and Yale has always stood on the top of this innovation. Starting from 2002, GATEMAN’s revolution in Korea is still on going. GATEMAN has transferred the concept of the lock from professionals’ range to common end-users’. This has led a boom that individual house owners choose a specific lock which is GATEMAN to change. Until now, more than 2.5 million GATEMANs have been sold alone in Korea and this proves it is the most famous digital door lock brand in the residential sector. Now, the two become one as Yale GATEMAN. With remarkable legacies from both mechanical and digital technologies that each company has successfully managed, The Yale GATEMAN series would make you meet a whole different level of the lock. The future of locking is already here and ready for use. Get rid of all your concerns regarding the security of your home and use the Yale GATEMAN digital door lock to unlock the door to the potential of your life. Unlock your life! rivest 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2010 Yah that's right. No physical keys with several other minor features. Is it worth the price? It depends. for me it was. Was comparing the YDM3109 and Gateman V100-H. I believe they are the product except that the 3109 uses Yale's guts for the mortise? Also, the 3109 seems to have the emergency master key feature, but I can't seem to find it on the V100's product shots? Can anyone confirm?
atlantis2267 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Was looking for the difference between the hook and non-hook version and came across this site: Hook version provides better protection against crow-bar force entry? Gateman V20 installation -- did anyone try registering using a credit card? ... the translation is not quite comprehensible Edited March 7, 2010 by atlantis2267

YDM3109 $680 include install & GST YDM4109 $720 include install & GST My bro company is working on a condo project and is getting these models @ project price from ASSA ABLOY Singapore. He can order extra, and can guarantee they will be warranty by them. The ebay sellers are probably parallel importers and I doubt they can provide the type of warranty ASSA ABLOY provide. For others who are keen, please list your name below, and PM me with your contact no. The TOP for the project is in Mid April, I will be able to arrange for this special price till then. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. For what its worth, installation will be done by the appointed installer by ASSA ABLOY and not some Chi-na part-time installer. The mechanical key will come in handy in case of electronic failure, imagine being lock outside your door in the middle of the night (Most locksmiths will have knife sharpen for you!). The F100 or V100 do not have override keys as in Korea, they have a FOC 24 hrs standby service in case of their lock fails. FYI, Gateman models are meant for Korean domestic models, which explains the small Korean type mortice they use, and the Korean Languages in the instruction manual. There are alot of features for F100, I am sure everyone will want to fully utilize them! Yale Gateman is using the German type Stainless Steel Mortice, they have also sent their lock to local PSB for certification to assure owners of their product reliability, and to be use on Fire rated doors. Samsung models needs 8 batteries to last the lock for approx. 1 year. Gateman and Yale Gateman needs only 4 batteries. I will work out a comparison chart for all to compare. I am sure now with this special price, the choice is simple. regards, redfit Edited March 9, 2010 by lockslocks
