summerholiday 2 Report post Posted December 29, 2008 hougang here. if u wan go bukit batok, from monfort u can take 165? if not wrong to amk and take train.. to amk take abt 20 min then from amk to bukit batok the time i'm not sure cos i don take that line.. if u take the north east line, u need change bus to hougang central then take mrt then change again and again.. if u take bus to ave 2 to take 854 to yishun u will change 3 transport. so the best is still ake bus from monfort side to amk, cross the road and take mrt

Hi Reffine, Welcome to Hougang! The environment here is quite alright. Whereabouts are you located in Hougang? I find it ok to take public tpt here as there are a few buses that will lead you to MRT stations along the way (at our area) like 109, 103, 70, 43 goes to Serangoon MRT 72 goes to Hougang MRT 156 goes to SengKang MRT or to Bishan MRT (Opp) etc..... depending on where you are taking the buses. Hi reffine, We (Hubz and I) have been staying at our flat for about a month, but only during the weekends at the moment, till our customary wedding. Hougang St 91 is pretty nearby. Hehehe No worries about the questions. Glad to be of help.
