Compass For Fengshui Readings

Recommended Posts

As I have a limited budget, I will not be engaging any FSM to do FS for my new house. However, since there is a free service provided by Mr Chong in this forum, I would like to loan or buy a compass to do some readings myself so I can post and ask for advice.

Anyone has a used compass to loan or sell to me? Or anyone knows where I can get a decent but cheap compass? I live in the east side so preferably somewhere near.

Advice appreciated. :)

I got my compass from Daiso $2 but i not very sure how to take the compass reading. Anyone can help?

i went to simei last night and got a compass for $12.75 from popular... after that i found out that there is a booth at east point 2nd floor selling microscopes, magnifying glasses etc there. They sell compass there for much cheaper like $4 or $6 but im not sure of the quality tho.

just for those who are interested in getting compass :)

how to take compass reading. however, his compass has a dial to twist the NSEW to the alignment, for ours, i need to turn the compass to the right direction, then from there, just see the reading of where i am facing....

Ya i did see the link before but then Mr Chong says my readings are wrong so I do not know where I went wrong. So guys, when taking the compass reading where do u all face if u were in different area? Facing the north or facing the main door? Then the compass 0 degree should be on the magnetic north pole or facing the door? Sorry for being noob.

thats the prob

even you got a compass liao, if don noe how to read, still back to sq one.

learning how to read from online, is quite hard (at least to me is like that la)

maybe, you can get a fs to have a very simple reading on your house ba?

not those very detail de... maybe just to find out the facing and sitting directions of your house and your family de ba zi.....

All school of Feng Shui whether they are based on Qi or Form make use of compass.

If you encounter a Feng Shui consultant who does not use a compass then you should be very concerned.

i don't think it is so easy to just buy a compass, buy a fengshui book and perform DIY fengshui for your home.

Cos the book is dead, and fengshui is very much alive. The books often give you a simple example but when you look at your own house, you cant find it in the book.

So only a seasoned FSM will know how to apply the fengshui concepts to analyse the fengshui of your house, according to your layout.

Just my 2 cents' worth
