Any lobang for replacing the rubbish chute opening?

Just received my keys yesterday and upon inspection, I noticed the opening latch for the rubbish chute very old and dirty....

Renovation starting this week and I'm thinking replacing it at the same time.

Appreciate if there is any recommendation. Thanks alot!!!

i think ur contractor / id should be able to replace for you. so far typical quote i've seen is 180-200 for 'flat' type of rubbish chute

I didn't check with my contractor yet. my budget is around $200-300 maximum. Of course it is better if can find cheaper ones.

initially quoted 200bucks by my ID. but after some nego here n there to reduce price for overall quotation, ID quoted 150bucks for install 1no of flush type rubbish chute =)
