jenandy 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2008 Hi guys, Has anyone done a water cascade in the living room before? It looks like a whole piece of glass with water flowing down from the top and with a drain below. Usually it's constructed behind the mounted TV... Any idea on the damage and also if it will make the room too humid?

lyuira 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Yep, it looks pretty as a partition, but is too distractive if put behind a TV, I imagine.
zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 (edited) Practically, very difficult to maintain. I had hardly seen a home water feature that does not have any algae growing on it. Those at commercial areas (office buildings, outdoor, etc) are regularly maintained and scrubbed by cleaners and M&E people. TYM 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 A friend has one. Initially look nice, after a while algae start to grow, have to scrub and scrub. Furthermore electricity tariff just up by 5%, i think the money can be better spend at other items.
