The balcony area is about 3.5m by 3.2m. Any one knows how much i can expect to pay? Or has good lobang, or any general experiences to share? Sorry i don't have a clearer picture to share.. Herman1609 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2008 Thanks for the tip! However we're looking for something more "permanent" and solid feeling. Those tiles seems flimsy. My balcony is already covered - why need roof? mine is not maisonette go to thomson nurseries - or any of those huge florists. i cant remember the exact price for a piece of 1x1 feet wood flooring(tile) - maybe $6-$9 ________________________________ or you can consider - to extend your living room out to the balcony. building a roof costs around $2k onwards. Thanks and Regards, Darren this is the current flooring for your balcony? Looks solid already and easy to maintain too. If u wan solid wood flooring then opt for chengai wood which is durable for outdoor, price not cheap too.
beagle 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2008 Hi Herman1609, Mine is a repurchased flat which has a balcony similar to yours except it is smaller. My balcony already has the windows and grills which I am going to remove them. From your picture posted, I can see there is a round bar around the balcony wall top, may I know if this is by default or u get contractor to do it for you? I am thinking of doing the round bar which adds up the height for added safety. Thanks in advance.

doomgloom 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2008 I have a rather big patio, and have no idea what to do with it. Was thinking of a wooden flooring as well, the one which looks like thin long planks. Any ideas?
