hihihi 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 Hi all, When I first done my renovation few years ago, I remember the contractor asked me for original floor plan to apply for some permit. Later he gave me the copy. This time round, another renovator, didn't do the same. I wonder if I should be asking them for the permit applied, in case they didn't do that.. any comments? keltong 4 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 HDB should send you a copy of the permit, if not, better ask from your contractor and keep a copy.
zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 HDB will send to you, confirm. But sometimes got screw up or you never change address etc. So best way is to check on MyHDBPage to see if permit had been applied for. The paper itself is not important anymore, nowadays hi-tech liao mah, so as long as MyHDBPage shows that got apply can already. Doing works without permit may attract a fine, so better be careful. TYM 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 As per HDB regulation, you must display the renovation permit outside your flat until all your renovation work is completed. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10297p.nsf/Im...YouNeedToDo.pdf
hihihi 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2008 I accessed the MyHDBPage, and saw this: is it that my renovator didn't apply for renovation permit?
TYM 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2008 Not sure whether HDB update the renovation portion of MyHDBPage cos during my reno, I also checked MyHDPage but got the same blank page as you, even though there was a black and white reno permit from HDB. But the financial portion of MyHDB page was updated thou.
