Simple Human Dustbins

Recommended Posts

I am looking at getting some nice dustbins.

Was actually intending to get the 20L butterfly dustbin (cant believe I actually wanted to spend $180 on a dustbin) but I think the dustbin too big for a normal plastic bag from NTUC or giants and the 6L round step bin looks a tad too small too. I saw that they have the 12L round bins from the back of the boxes but they were sold out at Marina Square outlet.

Any other place with a good range of simple human bins or can some one introduce other stylish/nice dustbins?

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

We are using the 20L butterfly series, normal Sheng Siong/NTUC/Giant plsatic bag is a bit "short" for the bin but still ok. 12L size is a bit small thou, would fill up in no time.

Really? Normal Giant bags can fit? Hmmmm....then my sense of estimating must have gone bonkers. :D

Can lah, just stretch a bit, but a bit short, we have been using the bags.

You mean simplehuman? Think their price are fixed. So far only see them at Homefix and Howard's storage.

If not can try Brabartia (if spelled correctly) at Tangs or the SS bins at Friven.

Ahh..in that case the HomeFix Flagship store at Marina Shopping Centre should have a wider range. However, the full range is still not available in Singapore.

One can buy from the SimpleHuman webpage though although the shipping cost may be a killer.

I don't think they ship outside US and Canada at the moment.

Vpost USA can be used as a shipping option. If not, one can buy these bins from Ebay UK too.

I actually prefer the rectangular bins compared to the butterfly cans as they appear to be more feature-packed (stay open function, fingerproof finish, quiet closing and less squeaky) but it seems the 25L version is no longer brought in.

i think home fix @ harbour front centre carries a much wider range of simple human bins than marina square...

you can also try departmental stores like tangs (orchard) and takashimaya, i bought a stainless steel one from Tangs several years back...costs about $50.
