How To Open Brandt Washing Machine Door With Little Effort

I just bought Brandt 08771 washing machine for its water and electrical saving.

However, all along i am quite concern over opening the washing machine door during

my WM shopping.

Now that it is delivered and my mum tried, my deepest fear surfaced.

She finds it hard to open using her thumb, or index and middle fingers...

Any current users can shed some light in opening the WM door with minimum effort?

So any forumers using Brandt and find opening the machine simple, can share on the techinque?

My mum is above sixties and keep some fingernails, hence find

opening the door a challenge.

sorry don't know about model number

you referring to door or drum? i.e. the front load door or the top load drum?

how about attaching a 'clip' to the catch?

so your mother can open the door by pulling on the clip instead?

thanks for suggestion, but not sure if i understand you (or my question is again misleading).

I understand Brandt door opening button, north side of the door is

a child proof lock (A).

The door catch is located at the east side of the door (B).

My mum finds it hard to press (A). Even using two thumbs to press.
