Recommended Posts

Hi Starscream,

Sorry. wat i imagine from ID is a transparent glass panel which will be mounted on the half-height newly-built wall. this is add-on from previous, hence, we did request any 3D drawing from ID.

The black tiles are for shower area while the beige tiles are for basin and toilet bowl area. areas w/o tiles are meant for mosiac as per below:-

Actually, was discussing with hubby last nite if the beige tiles is able to blend in well with the mosiac tt Johnny has chosen. But he assured us tt the result will turn out well. ok, trust him.shall wait for them to complete. took leave today. later gg to take a look at the tiling job with hubby.

Paiseh Paiseh, just looked again at the photos and see got windows 'cos your floor plan not so clear see if its casement or sliding windows for your rooms. Think my eyes got stamp also. :P

Anyway you did mention that the restroom in your MBR eat into space, but I suppose that could be done if you created a partial room for an L Shape wardrobe within. Would have enough for a dresser I suppose but not sure for the actual space in person?

The orange toilet tiles is the one LLhome used for her common toilet. Saw it before at her home.

Hi BunBun,

Yeah... my MBR n Bedroom3 have windows.. Y?

Hi Bun Bun,

Yah.. some ID also proposed almost same L-shaped beside the windows. But hubby feel tt its funny cos the space is limited and tt most of the sunlight will be blocked by the wardrobe... anyway, finally we just do a normal 9' wardrobe....... :( actually, i wanted a 10' wardrobe... but limited space... actually, from initial view, the other bedrooms look bigger than the MBR...

But anyway, thanks for ur proposal....

I was thinking it might be better to have a glass partition to partition off the area beside the restroom so that can put an L-Shape wardrobe. No worries just giving some suggestions. :) I think women are the only ones die die must have BIGGER wardrobe for many many clothes even im no exception. :P

Great!!! Hubby managed to take some photos again today... Tiling for the living room is in progress now... But we r wondering hw come they hav not finished the tiling for both toilets and is starting to work on the living room..

Is this correct procedure???

Hubby checked the floor tiling work. marvellous!!!! they really live up to their name.. good aligment, minimum grouting between tiles.. but cant comment much now, cos its only a small area...

let's monitor... anyway, hubby always visited the dream hse after his wrk. shall post more pics again.

Hi BunBun, yeah yeah exactly. My dream is to hav a large wardrobe to showcase my clothes, accessories n bags... intially, ID quoted 8' wardrobe due to limited space. but i pester my hubby to squeeze some place out to increase additional 1' wardrobe. but then, the saddest part is I can only hav 9'ft wardrobe which SOMEMORE has to be shared with my partner... back to my own place, I almost have the whole wardrobe to myself... :furious:

well, the only solution is to pass my clothes to frnz or throw away...

Hello Yenming! You can put those hooks on your wardrobe side to hang bags also can. Baguana has nice hooks for hanging clothes, its in his t-blog.

My wardrobe is smaller than yours.. I think its less than 6.5" 'cos the wall where we put ours is not long enough to have bigger wardrobe. :( Lucky my bedframe has storage drawers to put bedsheets and other things away

Hubby spent abt 6hrs in the house to observe and "da shang" the tilers today. He also took some pics of those in progress tiling...

P6200001.jpg

The area without tiles are cement-ed in order to be the same level with the homogenous tiles. Becos we will be building an elevated platform at tt area...

P6200004.jpg

P6200003.jpg

Tiling for the MBR toilet has already completed. However, ID told tilers to put mosaic into "on-hold" list becos after much consideration, the mosiac tt we have chose may nt be able to match the beige tiles. Anyway, hubby wld wan to choose new mosiac instead .... to be confirm again with ID.

P6200007.jpg

ID feedback tt the above orange tiles are insufficent to run 6 rows... SBH alrady out-of-stk for a long time and these tiles are found in another tile shop by hubby.... But ID feedback tt its still insufficient.

So can only hav two rows running.... hai... sadz... not sure if it were turn out nice nice..

The worst news received by us is tt our hse may nt be able to complete within End/Jul.... guess wat, ID told us it will be delayed to End/Aug!!!! anyway, he will print the schedule for us next wk. very very sadz again... argh...

Hi Bun Bun, I get wat u mean. But my wardrobe sides do not have space. On the left side of the wardrobe is the windows and its merely a 1/2' length for curtains. On the right side of the wardrobe, we hav our TV console.. so its nt possible to hav hooks on the wardrobe. But I'm thinking to buy hooks from Ikea and hook in the wardrobe cabinet...

I cant find the hooks u mention in Baguana's T-Blog. Can you show me the pics? hehe

Paiseh Paiseh, I must have been looking at too many blogs. Baguana's home left me and my hubby with a good impression as one of the nice homes that I mistake Baguna's place to have those hooks.

I remember one of the forumers got hooks similar to the one at Ikea & put it in 2 rows. (6 hooks total) jut for hanging clothes/accessories on the wall . Its not the 'S' type, its those circular hook with a flat surface. Will post the pic for you to see once I've found it
