Help Help Help! Balcony, Wardrobe & Bed Frame

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, I'm currently doing 1st time reno works for my house.

Just a few questions to ask:

1) what is the type of glass ppl usually use for their veranda? I'm looking for something that will not intrude privacy, like a one way thing i can see outside but outside can't peep in.

What is usually the price of such panes?

2) I'm customizing my wardrobe and bed (platform bedframe) what wood/material would be suitable? I'm looking at something that can last... and not too pricey....

3) Cos i'm switiching my veranda into a loungearea where i'll be putting my LCD TV, will the sun overheat my TV even when it's not on??

Please help.... Answers will be much appreciated.

For answers to #1 and #3, why don't you use normal glass but use solar films? There is a thread here on solar films for window, do a search. It cuts out 99% of glare and heat and also prevent people from looking in. As for #2, most customised wardrobe and bed use laminate? You can select the type of laminates - lots on the market these days.

You can use any glass for your veranda and can put a black frame on glasses so that no one can peep your interior easily and for your bed the best will be the wooden bed made up of saagon and plywood will look nice and cheap also than any other best product for material you can consult through any local service providers.......... :)

Please Display your bed and veranda pic. :paint: in forum after its renovation completion
