Anything To Stop Bomb Shelter Door From Opening Wildly?

Hi all,

my bomb shelter door when I swing it open, it opens abit too freely. Today I used a tiny little bit of strength, the door swing open and hit something. *Bang*

Is there some sort of "catcher" (dunno what's the name) to catch it? What I can imagine is a wire of a certain length that catches the door, prevents it from opening further. Is there something like that suitable for our holy bomb shelter?

did u try to paste some transparent stopper at the other wall to prevent the bang sound?

well, that is another method. Coz it's hitting on my fridge base.

Was actually looking for an elegant method of limiting the door's swing. If not then will do like what u proposed.
