stevetang 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2008 hi hi steve, just spoke to hb. Sorry sorry.. i heard wrongly, you CANNOT put solid wood in this area if there is sunlight at that is what is going to warp. Better to use plywood with veneer (but must use one piece veneer, not joined) good thing I double checked with him!! sorry for the wrong info But from wat i know, a longest one piece of wood is max 2.4x2.4m only. So how to get 2.8m?? As tis info is directly from my carpenter, sure must join de. That wats my carpenter told me, not my ID. Can u help check with ur HB, how they do it for ur house. Thanks hehe now you know how much I really know about it ok, checked with hb, he said use plywood joined is ok, it is the veneer that must be a full piece and not joined. And the pink is quite bright, not quite like the pics as my camera is really lousy. Will try to use my digital camera on this weekend to take some more and post to let u see.
