yokine9a 1 Report post Posted June 9, 2008 Sorry, but I think Terrazzo is diff from broken marble. They are in fact 2 types of marble flooring, marble and broken marble. I don't know how they are formed but in the old days marble used to be very expensive, so broken marble is a cheaper option. Of course broken marble is not as grand looking and nicer colour as marble. My living hall is Terrazzo flooring. It was installed 30 years ago and still in pretty good condition. Cost is in the range of $10-$15 psf depending on the types of marble you choose. This is last year's figure. Bear in mind that marble is probably not so common now with large supply of granite in the market, you might have left with limited choices to choose from.
