Protecting Parquet From Chair Castors

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Some of you may know that the castors on office chairs tend to scratch the parquet over time.

May I know how you prevent the scratches?

Ikea has those rubber mats but they are very expensive. Any cheaper alternatives?

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

i forgot the exact names but simply roll down to any hardware shops along the earlier part of geyland road (coming down from Bedok), they sell these kinda of cheaper protectors

Hi Commando,

Ikea's floor protector is actually not suitable for parquet floor..

We're also looking around for alternatives and are thinking of getting rugs but there are 3 big problems:

1) Roller chairs will not be able to roll anymore

2) Difficult to maintain

3) It is more ex :deal:
