I wish to move in in June, the renovation should be able to complete in mid june. Can my old bed and clothing move in first before I move in? If you're a staunch buddhist and prefer buddhist way, it's better that you ask your temple monk. There are many different practises out there. In my opinion, a proper one would be merely chanting (by the monk) and abstain from food (otherwise vegetarian for the day). Don't have to prepare any other things.
