Opinions On Quote For New 4 Rm Flat

Hi, I've juz got tis quote from an ID firm for my 4 RM Prenium flat ( 90 sqm ).

Is it reasonable???

Miscellaneous Works

1. Painting all internal wall & ceiling using NIPPON/ICI - $1200

2. Supply & lay floor protection for 03 x bedrooms - $90

3. provide acid washing for whole unit tiled area - $150

4. General washing of whole unit upon handover - $60

5. Supply & install aluminum window grilles for Service Yard - $180

6. Supply & install sandblasted top hung sliding dr for - $890

kitchen entrance

Ceiling works

1. Supply & install L Box est 60ft length for living room - $360

2. Supply & install L Box est 50ft length for MBR - $300

3. Supply & install est 40sqft False Ceiling for Foyer area - $100

4. Supply & install est 60sqft FAlse Ceiling for MBR - $150

Plumbing Works

1. Supply & install new stainless steel/copper piping for - $550

kitchen & 02 x WC

2. To connect inlet/outlet point for 02 x basin - $60

3. To connect inlet/outlet point for sink - $30

4. To connect inlet/outlet point for washing machine - $30

Carpentry Works

1. Fabricate & install 6 1/2ft length feature wall for - $1200

Bomb Shelter

2. Design & construct 20ft kitchen cabinet with solid top - $2100

Total - $7450

Additional

1. Supply & lay lighting wiring point with casing per point - $30

2. Supply labour to install lighting per point - $8

3. Supply & lay single socket power point with - $45

casing per point

4. Supply & lay double power point with - $60

casing per point

5. Supply & lay heater point with casing per point - $100

6. Supply & lay Air con point with casing per point - $100

i think a bit high, why u not enggage contractor?its more cheaper

eg: acid washing for whole house 2times , mine only $120, and ur id charge u $210 already

should be lay for whole hse, sometimes floor protection can be FOC , depending on ur ID, otherwise, shouldnt cost more than $180

3. provide acid washing for whole unit tiled area - $150

acid washing is needed only if home owners got do flooring. 2 companies say if flooring is already done by HDB, wash 2 or 3 times the usual way can liao, no need acid wash also can

4. General washing of whole unit upon handover - $60

btw, parquet floor cannot touch water, u know

5. Supply & install aluminum window grilles for Service Yard - $180

price is okay, r u getting double hollow, silver aluminium?, if u r not doing window pane, u may have to do powder-coated alumium grilles (u gotta check w HDB), and u MUST stick to te 3 types of approved grille-designs by HDB

6. Supply & install sandblasted top hung sliding dr for - $890

kitchen entrance

seems a bit ex, got a quote for 1 fix door size tempered glass panel + 1 sliding clear tempered glass door $900

heard that altho stainless steel is more ex, but it may give u trouble if it is installed by a not-so-skilful guy, coz it is more difficult to bend than copper (wat is WC?)

if basin is alr installed by HDB still need to connect the inlet/outlet ???

3. To connect inlet/outlet point for sink - $30

4. To connect inlet/outlet point for washing machine - $30

this one very simple. can diy. if they wanna do for u, should be FOC

Carpentry Works

1. Fabricate & install 6 1/2ft length feature wall for Bomb Shelter - $1200

hw come so ex? got wat kind of special design on it? if it is plain and only matt/gloss laminate finish, can get it at $550 for 6 ft

2. Design & construct 20ft kitchen cabinet with solid top - $2100

price is okay, rember to get the solid top w back splash and ask for 3 free glass cabinets and free stainless steel dish rack and matching culinary tray

Additional

1. Supply & lay lighting wiring point with casing per point - $30 ok

2. Supply labour to install lighting per point - $8 ok

3. Supply & lay single socket power point with casing per point - $45 wat this

4. Supply & lay double power point with casing per point - $60 wat this

5. Supply & lay heater point with casing per point - $100 wat this? installation of storage tank/water heater for both toilets can be FOC, depending on ur ID

6. Supply & lay Air con point with casing per point - $100 wat this? they give u free aircon?

* GST waived (80% ID i approached will waive...)

btw, u not doing any carpentary for ur bedrooms and living rm?
