Or if you prefer the bigger shops, you can go to Harvey Norman @ Millenia Walk to look for a guy called "Skin". Can bargain with him. His price cheaper then some smaller neighbourhood shops. andylyf 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 first of all, did u call and ask for quotation for many models of aircon? Sometimes, its not that they don't want to reveal the prices. Its because nowadays competition is so stiff, they afraid its competitors checking out the prices. That's why they prefer u to go down to their showroom when they can give u a better price / some other discounts/ freebies. Of course, this is also a sales tatics, by making u go down, its 1/2 a battle won. From there, they can persuade you whole day long to buy from them. Therefore, if u decide to go down, must know the prices from other shops. Maybe the person who attended you don't have a good tone, but dun get angry over such small matters. missyling 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 Hi plusnplus I also called up alot of Gain City outlet to check out the $$ for their air con. Overall, they are quite all right but if you ask too many models, they would sound a bit irrated la. But onw thing that i notice is that, different outlets is offering different $$. And sometime the price they gave you over the phone might be different from what they hv in their store.
