mi lOr 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2008 Always look more like a house after getting a fresh coat of paint. But just a query, y deliver ur washing machine so early when most of ur reno still in progress? Concern is that ur contractor may accidentaly damage it or knock into it. Worst is it may get stolen as ur estate still new, a lot of people doing reno, a lot of people walking in and out. i'm being 'forced' to rceive the item. this is because i saw this on offer in ntuc and its even cheaper than those neighbourhood electrical shop so i fast hand fast leg place order. initially they promised that i can keep it till end of may but one day after i buy they call me up and say can only keep for one month max.. i thought about what u say also and thats why its still in its original packaging till now. will only open when everything is ready. mi lOr 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 31-may-08 - renovation after week 8 its so fast that we are already in the 8th week of the renovation.. time really flies.. after a one week break of no photos, this week finally we see some major progress! this week's progress: a. curtains up b. lights up c. painting done d. racks for household shelter up master bedroom master bedroom again another angle master toilet bedroom 2 - gf's favorite another angle bedroom 3 another angle passageway to bedrooms living room another angle yet another angle kitchen common bathroom household shelter foyer three problems i found: a. the two way switches are connecting to the wrong lights! b. the foyer lights seems not to be in-line with the living. its ok that the electrician is correct to align in the middle, but when the household shelter feature wall is here, it will be off the mid-line! why did the contractor inform him that there will be a household shelter?!?! c. why didn't the contractor inform me that if i add additional switches i cannot have it embedded as well? he should have the courtesy to inform me of such for me to decide whether i want or not mah... hmmm... the contractor owes me a reply.. BunBun 5 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 hey, just notice you bought mistral heater. I also have a mistral heater but not the same model. The only thing about it is that its supposed to give you hot water according to the sales person. However after installing the mistral heater, i find that got to really adjust the water pressure to really low then can get hot/warm water. So better check if the mistral heater will produce hot water in high-low water pressure if you're particular about the water pressure when showering.
